September I love to forget

I can't even imagine of a bad September like this. So many things happen during last one month which shouldn't have happened and pray will never happen again. It started with assassination of Swami Laxmananda Saraswati, the 80-year-old monk . This is a sad and shocking incidence and it should be condemned at all level. But it doesn't stop here the aftermath riot, violence and the so called Bandh shocked me to my core. Killing of poor innocent people in the name of religion can't be justified at any level. Naveen Patnaik govt. has to take some strong step so that such incident shouldn't happen in future. All those who are involved in the brutal killing of Swamiji and those who involved in aftermath riot should be punished. The so called secular and foreign media in the mean time work overtime to tarnish the image of Hinduism which is not at all acceptable. We didn't gain anything but lost so many things because of all these misshappening. Staying so far away from your country you feel so helpless when all these things happen.

Still people are unable to come out from the shock of Kandhamal riot to worse the thing flood hits Orissa. It's the worst flood to hit Orissa in past 50 years affecting about 38 lakhs. Govt. needs to have well defined mechanism to handle such natural calamities. Every year we are hit by something or other like flood, drought cyclone. Govt.can't alone handle this it needs help from all quqarter. The Utkal Bipanna Sahayata Samiti (UBSS) is a good initiative in this regards. We should come forward and help them to the best we can do as this is the high time they need us.

First riot then Flood is there anything left to worse the things. Iwas thinking no this is the limit of miss happening but I was wrong. On Sept 13 Delhi bomb blast has shaken the country. Terrorism is no crime; it is an act of war. India has been a victim of terrorism for the last more than two decades and has suffered more than any other country in terms of loss of precious human lives and property. We are not the only country who has suffered at the hands of international terrorism, but we surely are the only country who has shown this stoic passivity in the face of such great provocation. Is it because we are inheritors of a great tradition called gambhirta (indifference to painand pleasure) and therefore we should not get provoked easily, or is it because we are insensitive to the loss of ordinary people who become targets of such terror attacks? If not, then surely we have underestimated or ignored the gravity of the threat to an extent sufficient to have made the task of its perpetrators far easier. Wedon't have strict law to handle terrorism; we don't even dare to hang a terrorist even after the apex court giving him death sentence. Why we are so soft towards terrorist. Enough is enough; we must make it clear that we shall not suffer any more spilling of blood on ourstreets and shall put nothing to chance in matters of national security.

Riot, Flood, Bomb Blast anything left to happen...Unfortunately yes.US witnesses it biggest banking failure ever. Washington Mutual, popularly known as Wamu, became the latest casualty of the ongoing financial crisis which saw the collapse of the fourth largest investment bank in US Lehman Brothers and prompted the government to bailout other entities including Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae and Insurancegiant AIG. These financial crises have a large impact on Indian economy. Let's hope that things will settle down here and we have minimum impact back home...

When you will be far form your dear one then only u realize what it means to be far from ur friends, family ,country. For last few days, I am trying to pen down my experience, things those are going through my mind. September month was terrible for us. Lets hope next time I will write something on the positive side. I am missing our own Kalahandi Nua Kahi Bhet Ghat at B'lore. Thanks Tushar for posting all devlopmentabout Kalahndi. Jai Maa Manikeswari.
